Hopefully you will find all sorts of interesting facts and figures here which will aid you in your understanding of aspects of your course and assist in your further reading so that you can impress at those all-important University interviews…

One of the most helpful pieces of advice I was given before going for interview was this:

“Have an area of interest which is related to (but not entirely covered by) your course… swat up on it and then get ready to impress your interviewer!”

One of the aims of this wesbite is to give you a chance to do just that. There’s so much to discover about life at the world’s extremes. How certain mammals are adapted to not only simply survive in the deep, but deliberately go down and search for food at great depth has been the subject of much study over the years…

This website contains a brief overview of some of the results of these discoveries, as well as links to other informative webpages, and to quizes which will test how much you’ve taken in 🙂

If there are any words you are unsure about, if it is underlined, you can hover the cursor over the word and a definition of the word will appear. Try it out in the following sentence! If all else fails, head to the glossary page where you can also find all the definitions.

So what are you waiting for?! Get exploring!
